Under a Haunted Moon
Wild Bloom Poetry | An Evening of Poetry & Other Hauntings
October brings us back to Emily’s Garden for an evening of poetry, live jazz, and a few beautiful hauntings.
This month, we’re wandering into the darker corners of the imagination. Moonlight and shadows, spells and strange things, what blooms in the dark, and whatever lingers long after we thought it was gone.
Our Featured Poet, Manny Saints, is a Honduran-American poet born and raised in Miami. His writing explores dreams, family, mortality, history, and nature, finding ways to connect us through the written word.
Resident musician Michael Gaspari opens the evening with live jazz before we turn the microphone over to our community of poets.
Bring a poem that haunts you. Something strange. Something beautiful. Or simply come to listen.
Costumes and spooky poems are welcome, but never required.
Whether you're a seasoned poet, a first-time reader, or someone who simply enjoys listening, there's a place for you in the garden.
